FSYO member Naudè Potgieter debuts with the Free State Symphony Orchestra as a cadet at Saturday's FSSO Symphony Concert taking place from 7:30pm at the Odeion School of Music OSM, UFS. The network of partnerships with the OSM, Musicon and local music teachers effectively creates a music-educational ‘pipeline’ which enables talented young musicians from all backgrounds to progress from junior youth orchestras to senior youth orchestras to the ‘adult’ symphony orchestra. #Music #Education #Development

The Odeion String Quartet constitute the leadership core of the FSSO string sections, and its leader Samson Diamond is also the leader of the Symphony Orchestra. The presence of these high-quality players is essential to the FSSO’s quality and musical integrity.
