Jasmine Antonie Stockton – performer, teacher, choreographer, is well-known in the world of Dance and the Performing Arts, with over 45 years of experience. Choreographic experience includes: SABC-TV production of Handel's Opera Acis and Galatea, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Snoopy!!!, Die Drie van der Walts, Die Goue Kring (premiére), Met Permissie Gesê, Brommer in die Boord, Die Fledermaus, The Bartered Bride, La Traviata (twice), The Student Prince, Carmen, Evita, Fiddler on the Roof, Oklahoma, Nunsense, Grease ( four times) and West Side Story (twice).
In 1990, together with the Bloemfontein Consortium Musicum, she performed the premiére of composer Allan Stephenson's Toccata Sinfonica for strings & castanets. In 2002 she performed Allan Stephenson's Toccata Festiva for castanets, string orchestra & percussion. In 1999, she performed the premiére of husband, Noel Stockton's composition, Sol Y Sombra for string quartet, clarinet & castanets. This was performed again as well as other pieces in the Odeion's Festival del Espana. Jasmine gave a repeat performance of Sol Y Sombra at UCLA (Los Angeles) in November 2012.
