The Free State Youth Orchestra in conjunction with Dance Domination is hosting a Christmas carol concert with a twist on Thursday, 30 November 5:00pm at Loch Logan Waterfront. This festive fusion of music and dance will include music like “Silent night, O Holy night, Hark the herald angels sing, Joy to the world” sung by Ella Kotze, with the sensational dancers from Dance Domination, strutting their stuff to “Pietro Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana’s Intermezzo, Vivaldi/Haubrich’s Amathunda and Ed Shereen’s beautiful Supermarket flowers.” The event is one of Free State Symphony Orchestra’s community outreach initiatives that strive to take classical music to the people by means of free performances in public spaces and audience development through creative collaborations with other art forms. The concert was made possible by the generosity of Loch Logan Waterfront management.
